Reading comprehension is the process of understanding what you’ve read. It involves knowing what you read, and applying it to your life. Reading comprehension isn’t something that comes naturally; it must be learned. One of the best ways to learn is by reading books that challenge you, and force you to think outside of the box.

Overcome the Ordeal

So if you feel that the book you are reading is somewhat not interesting or challenging you in some way, then it is a good indication that you’re on the right path.

Expanding Your Vocabulary

A huge part of reading comprehension is vocabulary.

If you want to become a great reader, it’s important for you to expand your vocabulary as much as possible so you can understand everything around you better than before.

Now, a lot of people assume that reading and comprehension are just the same. But in reality, they are two different skillset. The more you know about each skill, the better equipped you’ll be to improve your skills in both areas.
